Vortex discharge regulators
The vortex discharge regulator can be a solution for reducing the water flow of stormwater outlets and stormwater reservoirs. In this kind of equipment the chocking happens as a result of the produced vortex flow. The vortex causes a high flow resistance, therefore, it reduced the water delivery.
The vortex discharge regulator does not contain moving parts, so it requires no electrical power either. It can be used in case of rainwater, as well as for waste water, it can be deployed in wet, dry and semi-dry spaces.
By the use of vortex discharge regulator the water flow can be limited at stormwater reservoirs and barrage facilities, and a consistent load can be ensured for wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, as well as for oil and grease traps.
The equipment can be made from stainless steel (1.4301) or acid resistance steel (1.4571) as required. Its installation is simple, quick and can be implemented also as retrofitting. No modification of the facility is required for the installation.
