Sluice gates
Structures used in wastewater treatment plants, hydraulic facilities, industrial plant and other locations for controlling or stopping the flow of water.
Depending on the principles of operation and functions they have various designs, and can be operated manually or with electrical motor. Primarily, we manufacture sluice gates for closing orifices (closing at 4 points) or sewer system sluice gates (closing at 3 points) with the possibility of variable crest.
The design of the sluice gate is also influenced by the size of the orifice to be closed, as well as by the height of water to be retained. Booster equipment and/or electrical drives could assist the structures intended to close large surfaces. We can produce sluice gates with double panels as well if requested specifically.
The material of the sluice gates could be stainless steel (1.4301) or acid resistant steel (1.4571), or eventually hot dip galvanized carbon steel.
