Weir gates
The HydroBend weir gates can be used for withholding water and for limiting the stored water volume.
Stormwater reservoirs and sewer reservoirs have to be equipped with spill overflows. In the event of heavy rainfall and if the reservoir is full, the overflows divert excess water into the adjacent watercourse. The HydroBend weir gate is installed at the level of overflow threshold, and they keep constant water level. It has a hinged support at the bottom. When the water level exceeds the desired level, then the gate is lowered, water flows over the upper edge of the gate.
No external energy source is required for the equipment, and it has a modular structure. It can be retrofitted to existing facilities. It is a robust steel structure made of stainless steel (1.4301) or acid resistant steel (1.4571).
